Hey, you’re still here. Maybe you’re exploring, or just curious. Either way, I’m so glad you made it. So, let me tell you a little about me…
I’m from Puerto Rico, a small island in the Caribbean, born on the west coast where the sun warms your skin, the ocean moves in gentle, endless waves, and the air carries the scents of salt, flowers, and greenery. Growing up, I learned that when we connect, we are expressive, alive, and sometimes it can get complicated, but always full of warmth and presence. Even now, living in Belgium, I carry that pulse with me, a quiet reminder of how closeness and attention can exist, even when connection feels harder to find.
In this city, building connection like the kind I have back home is anywhere from difficult to not possible. The way I laugh, move, and show up for others can feel loud and off in a place where the pace, expectations, and cultural norms are different. I carry that sense of presence and warmth, but it comes at a cost, because I’m not where I’m from, and the longing for connection follows me wherever I go but I hold onto the tenderness of those rhythms, even when they’re missing around me.
I’ve experienced how being far from friends and family, along with the challenges of time zones, can leave me feeling gasping for connection. Building relationships in Brussels can often feel temporary, complicated, and more effortful than I expected, and it often takes much more energy to navigate while I also figure out the demands of living here.
This understanding of human connection, vulnerability, and relational patterns led me to become a Somatic Sex and Relationship Coach, or, more simply, a Somatic Intimacy Coach through the Somatica® Institute, where I trained in embodied, experiential approaches to intimacy and relational healing. I also trained in the Fairy Tale Model for trauma-informed care, supporting those who have experienced deep loss or relational trauma.
My work is grounded in the Somatica® approach, an experiential method that focuses on learning through real-time relational practice and on holding space for people to explore and navigate their own intimacy. I meet people’s experiences with care and attention, and I support you in finding authentic connection with yourself and others, even in moments of solitude or in places where connection feels difficult.
You might not recognize yourself in my culture or the sensory world I come from, but you may recognize the feeling of wanting to be met, understood, and connected. The desire for closeness, for presence, and for meaningful connection lives in many of us, even when our stories look nothing alike. <3
If something in my story resonates with you, if it sparked curiosity, if you recognize parts of yourself in these words or in the longing for connection, you are welcome to reach out.
We can start with a gentle conversation and see if working together feels right.
